Sven Lafebre

After studying physics and astronomy, Sven Lafebre obtained a PhD in astrophysics at Radboud University. His thesis work on cosmic rays for the LOFAR radio telescope includes large-scale computer simulations and reconstruction algorithms.

Sven continued this research as a post-doc at the Pennsylvania State University for the IceCube experiment, where he developed reconstruction algorithms and data visualization tools.

Currently, Sven is working as a scientific programmer at the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group. He is focusing on data visualization.
