Julia Haentjes

Julia Haentjes is a Master student of Biomedical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). In April 2026, she started her internship under the supervision of Bogdan Obreja. The goal of her project is to improve an existing deep learning-based lung nodule detection algorithm that was previously developed and trained on non-screening CT data. In the project, she will adapt and retrain the current model by using screening CT data and evaluate the performance of the model with screening data.
