Anton Schreuder started as a PhD student in the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group of the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Imaging of the Radboudumc (Nijmegen) in 2016 right after obtaining his medical degree from Leiden University Medical Center. Anton's supervision team consists of Cornelia Schaefer-Prokop (primary promoter), Bram van Ginneken (secondary promoter), Colin Jacobs (co-promoter), and Mathias Prokop (supervisor) and was funded by the Dutch Cancer Society and Bram van Ginneken's VICI grant. He succesfully defended his thesis titled "Lung cancer screening: use the scan to decide who to scan when" with distinction on April 6th, 2021.
