Max de Grauw

PhD Candidate

Max de Grauw obtained his BSc and MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. For his master thesis he interned at the Monitoring & Control Services department of TNO and worked on leveraging the Transformer architecture for industrial anomaly detection. Starting in October 2020, he joined the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group as a PhD candidate. Under supervision of Bram van Ginneken and Mathias Prokop, he works on rapid reading of oncological thorax-abdomen scans using deep learning. His PhD is funded by Eurostars and is a collaboration with Thirona and Merantix.
