Nadieh Khalili
Postdoctoral Researcher
Nadieh is a postdoctoral researcher in a tenure track in the Computational Pathology group within the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group. Her research revolved around using machine/deep learning for the integration of pathology and radiology image analysis. She works under the supervision of Geert Litjens and Jeroen van der Laak. Nadieh's interest in medical image analysis and AI was sparked during her master’s studies in biomedical engineering at the University of Bern in Switzerland. She carried on her Ph.D. on quantification of brain development in neonatal and fetal MRI using deep learning at UMC Utrecht. After completing her Ph.D., Nadieh worked as an AI scientist at Philips and Contextvision and then decided to pursue her career in academy.
