Rashindra Manniesing received his Master's degree from Delft University of Technology in Electrical Engineering, his PhD from Utrecht University in Medical Imaging, and currently is senior researcher and assistant professor at the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine of Radboudumc. He has established and is leading the research group on advancing neurovascular imaging. In close collaboration with clinicians and industry, he develops AI to optimize image acquisition and to automate image interpretation. He is (co-)author of over 40 papers in international scientific journals. Software originating from his research is included in clinical workstations, which are installed at several hundreds of hospital sites, positively impacting the lives of over ten thousand patients worldwide.
