Alessa Hering advances to Talent Track phase 2
The Radboudumc Executive Board recently announced that Alessa Hering has advanced to phase 2 of the Talent Track within the Radboudumc Scientific Career Path, as decided by the Talent Track Committee.
The Scientific Career Path is designed to provide talented researchers with a transparent and stable career perspective towards an independent scientific career at Radboudumc. The Talent Track supports researchers in developing their own research profile and research group, with phase 2 focusing on further expanding an independent research program and preparing for progression to Associate Professor and Research Group Leader.
Alessa's research focuses on AI for longitudinal and multimodal imaging of metastatic cancer. She aims to use the rich information contained in serial imaging and clinical data to better understand how metastatic disease evolves and responds to treatment. Her work aims to translate these insights into clinically useful tools that support radiologists and oncologists, improve the efficiency and consistency of cancer assessment, and ultimately enable more personalized patient care. An overview of the ongoing projects of the research team led by Alessa can be found here.
We congratulate Alessa on this important career milestone and look forward to seeing the continued impact of her research!
