SynthRad2023 Challenge wins Best in Physics award at ESTRO2024

The SynthRad2023 Challenge received the Best in Physics award during the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) 2024 conference in Glasgow. SynthRad2023, hosted on Grand-Challenge, focused on AI algorithms that can synthesize CT images from Cone-Beam CTs or from MRIs. The challenge was partly organized by Peter Koopmans and was a collaboration between Nijmegen, Utrecht, Groningen, Eindhoven, Maastricht, Amsterdam, Delft, and Wageningen.
