As of 2026, he serves as a member of the American College of Radiology: PI-RADS AI Subcommittee and supervises the Ph.D. of Joel Jacob Tomson within the AI4AI consortium.
In 2020, he obtained his Joint MSc in Medical Imaging and Applications (MaIA) from the University of Girona (Spain), UNICAS (Italy) and the University of Bourgogne (France), as a recipient of the European Union: Erasmus+ EMJMD scholarship. During this period, he completed a research internship at the Carl E. Ravin Advanced Imaging Laboratories at Duke University Medical Center (USA).
Between 2020—2025, Anindo’s Ph.D. was conducted at Radboud University Medical Center (the Netherlands) and embedded within the European Union Horizon 2020: ProCAncer-I project; a consortium of 20 partners investigating artificial intelligence systems to support the diagnostic pathway of prostate cancer management in clinical practice. His research was supervised by Henkjan Huisman and Jurgen Fütterer, and conducted in close collaboration with Maarten de Rooij, Jasper J. Twilt and Joeran S. Bosma. In part, his Ph.D. research resulted in the PI-CAI and SCARLET studies, and directly contributed to the PANORAMA study.
