Debbie de Graaf is a PhD candidate at the AI for Parkinson Lab. She obtained her Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the Radboud University in 2018. Throughout her study, she always had great interest in contributing to personalized health care using innovative technology while working closely with patients.

After her graduation, she worked as a research assessor for the Personalized Parkinson Project at the Radboudumc, remotely monitoring a large group of patients with an innovative smartwatch. In 2022, she started her PhD project focused on developing digital, home-based measures for physical capacity and physical activity of people with Parkinson’s Disease and COPD, using smartwatch data from the ADAPT-study. Debbie is supervised by Bas Bloem, Luc Evers, Alex van ‘t Hul and Nienke de Vries.
