Ilker Özgür Koska
İlker Özgür Koska is a Neuroradiologist, Pediatric Radiologist and PhD student in Advanced Biomedical Technologies. He received his Medical Doctor degree from Hacettepe University Turkey in June 2002. In January 2003 he started residency of Radiology in Hacetepe University and in 2008 received Radiology Specialist degree. After service work between 2008-2010, he worked in various private medical centers and private hospitals as a chief radiologist between 2010 and 2015. He passed Turkish Board of Radiology in 2015. Between 2015-2017 he attended Turkish Certificate of Neuroradiology courses and recived Neuroradiologist degree in 2018. In July 2016 he started Pediatric Radiology Fellowship in Ege University Turkey . He received Pediatric Radiologist degree in August 2018. In February 2017 he started Advanced Biomedical Technologies PhD in EEE Faculty of Dokuz Eylül University Turkey mainly focusing on deep learning and machine learning for medical imaging data. He completed all relevant courses and passed the proficiency examination for his PhD. Now he is working on his thesis about Building Generative Adversial Networks for Learning Transfer Functions for 3D visualization of medical imaging data. In July 2019 he received Turkish Scientific and Research Council (TUBİTAK) scholar to join DIAG as a guest researcher and work under supervision of Prof. Dr. Bram Van Ginneken on his thesis.
