Luuk Boulogne studied Artificial Intelligence at the University of Groningen. In 2018, he obtained his Master's degree (summa cum laude) after completing his thesis on Extra Domain Data Generation with Generative Adversarial Nets. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group at the Radboud university medical center, Nijmegen. Under supervision of Bram van Ginneken, he is working on an automated method that will predict the effects of a lobectomy on a patient's lung function. His PhD is funded by Thirona and the European Regional Development Fund.
