Michel Kok was a PhD candidate at the Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen. He joined the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group in April 2020. His research was focused on bone metastases detection and quantification in CT images (Oncology project), under the supervision of Nikolas Lessmann.

Michel Kok studied Computing Science at the Radboud University Nijmegen for which he received his Master’s degree in 2020. At the same time, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. During his master’s he specialized in Data Science and performed his final research project at the Computational Pathology group of the Department of Pathology. During this project he worked on metastases detection in lymph nodes using transfer learning.
