
Mika Klepper
Master Student
Mika Klepper is a Master’s student in Artificial Intelligence at Radboud University, specializing in the Intelligent Technology track with a focus on Neurotechnology and Healthcare. Starting on September 1st, 2025, he will conduct his thesis research in collaboration with the Computational Pathology group (CPG) at Radboudumc under the supervision of Geert Litjens. His project focuses on the use of foundation models for automated detection of liver hypertrophy in histopathological whole-slide images as part of drug safety studies.
In 2021, he obtained his BSc in Technical Medicine from the University of Twente, The Netherlands. He later completed the first year of the MSc program in Biorobotics at the same university before transitioning to the AI pre-master and Master's program at Radboud University to deepen his expertise in AI for healthcare. His academic background bridges medical and technical disciplines, with interests in medical imaging, computational modeling, and AI applications in clinical diagnostics.
