Nils Hendrix
Postdoctoral Researcher
Nils Hendrix completed the Research Master’s track in Communication and Information Sciences at Tilburg University in December 2018 (cum laude). In collaboration with Philips Research Eindhoven, he did his Master thesis project on “Unsupervised Generative Modelling for Outlier Detection in Digital Pathology Images”. On the 17th of May 2024, he successfully defended his PhD thesis at Tilburg University. His thesis is titled "Artificial intelligence for computer aided diagnosis of scaphoid fractures and associated instability on conventional radiography". He carried out the PhD project under supervision of Matthieu Rutten, Sharon Ong, Eric Postma, and Bram van Ginneken. As of May 2024, he works as a postdoctoral researcher at DIAG for researching a new AI application for diabetes foot detection with infrared measurements.
