Matthieu Rutten

Associate Professor

Matthieu Rutten is Associate Professor in Translational Clinical Imaging in the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group at Radboud University Medical Center. He is dedicated musculoskeletal, breast and interventional radiologist. He graduated at Radboud University Nijmegen in 1989, completed his radiology residency at Radboud University Medical Center in 1996 and his PhD at the Radboud University Nijmegen on Ultrasound of the Shoulder - Efficacy studies in 2010. He has (co-)authored over 100 publications in (inter)national journals. He is radiologist since 1997 in the Jeroen Bosch Hospital in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Radiology Residents Program Director from 2001-2019, vice chair of the Jeroen Bosch Academy and member of the Concilium Radiologicum of the Dutch Society of Radiology (NVvR) from 2004-2011. Dr Rutten is chair of the Musculoskeletal Radiology Section of the NVvR and member of the AI subcommittee of the European Society of Skeletal Radiology (ESSR).
