Péter Bándi
PhD Candidate
Péter Bándi is a PhD student in the Computational Pathology group of the Pathology Department of the Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen. He studied Computer Science at the University of Szeged in Hungary and graduated in 2006. In December 2015 Peter joined the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group as a PhD student under the supervision of Bram van Ginneken, Iris Nagtegaal, Jeroen van der Laak, and Geert Litjens to work on fully automated assessment of histological sections of lymph nodes from breast and colorectal resections using deep neural networks. The research is part of the pathology package of the AMI project.
