Lena Philipp joined the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group as a PhD candidate in April 2023. She works on identifying organs/regions in CT scans that exhibit no signs of disease or unexpected variations. She is supervised by Alessa Hering and Bram van Ginneken.

She obtained her Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Bremen, Germany. As part of an internship at the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group and the Radboud AI for Health lab, she wrote her thesis on the assessment of body composition in 3D CT images.
