Romain André

PhD Candidate

Romain André is a PhD Candidate in the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group working on the HealthyAI project. His work explores AI algorithms that are transparent and explainable in order to render Reinforcement Learning (RL) suitable for use in clinical routines. He is supervised by Henkjan Huisman. In 2023, he obtained his Engineering Diploma majoring in AI and Data Science at University of Technology of Compiègne (France), as well as his Joint MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Technology of Compiègne (France) and University of Genoa (Italy). For his Master thesis at University of Évry, Paris-Saclay, he worked on Denoising Diffusion Probabilistic Models in order to generate transcriptomics data for augmentation.
