Kicky van Leeuwen’s mission is to create value with data science and artificial intelligence for improved and more efficient patient care. She studied Technical Medicine at the University of Twente and gained both research and commercial experience in the field of artificial intelligence in healthcare before starting at the Radiology department of the Radboudumc. She is a PhD candidate in the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group under supervision of Bram van Ginneken, Matthieu Rutten, Maarten de Rooij, and Steven Schalekamp. Her research concerns the development of a methodology for validation and implementation of artificial intelligence software in radiology.
